My English Blog : Grand Opening

Recently I started a blog in my mother's langage (french) : most of my friends, relatives, an people who I meet on signing sessions and who want to be in closer touch with me are french speakers. But what about my american relatives (an Aunt, a cousin and her daughter), or my english friends? Or the people I met all over the world who are not french speakers?
So I had somewhere in mind to start a translation. Well, that's a good opportunity to work my english, isn't it?

And a few days ago, something like a miracle happened.
When I was a teenager, I had that american friend: a beautiful girl called Ronal. We used to be pen pal before I met her for real. The fun of the story is that I knew only a few words in english - not enough to get a proper conversation - and she didn't know french. How come we could communicate is still a wonder for me.

Because childs are childs, or maybe because life is sometimes tricky, we lost each other and for almost twenty years we haven't be in touch any more. Until last week.... my name came up in her mind. She remembered me and found me on facebook. We were really close, and in a couple of hours tchating on msn, I found that we still are connected.

This has nothing to do with painting (many apologizes for english users who are JUST interested with my work ! :-)). But I owe you a little explanation for this english version of my blog.

Please forgive me for the many mistakes I will probably make in my translations. I hope you enjoy the trip in my busy life, between paintings and fairy tales.

In that blog, I am going to give you different kind of articles, like the feed backs on festival, some pictures of the canvas in process in my studio, some speed paintings or doodles I wouldn't publish in my official website... I hope I can make it friendlier, somehow.
